Lemonade

Judy. Ok—when we first found out we couldn’t come back to the house we’d previously rented in Athens (it was already rented out), I was bummed. We’d really settled in there, as much as we settle anywhere, and we were close to Leslie and family. Sigh.

But, as Ted says, “Ok, what does this make possible?” Well, quite frankly, a LOT!

Dear friends Carolyn and Doug were going to be out of town for the summer, so they offered their lovely home in an over 55 community. The house overlooks a pond, and the swimming pool is just the other side. It’s not far from the old neighborhood we left in 2015, near our church and longtime friends, and halfway between Leslie’s family and Stefan’s. So here’s what we did this summer:

Our view!
